HP Umpire Brian Walsh ejected Brewers manager Pat Murphy (ball calls to Tommy Pham; QOCY) in the bottom of the 9th inning of the #Cardinals-#Brewers game. With none out and none on, and Devin Williams pitching, Cardinals batter Willson Contreras was hit by a pitch, José Fermín doubled, Nolan Arenado struck out swinging, Lars Nootbar walked, Paul Goldschmidt struck out looking, Matt Carpenter walked, and Tommy Pham walked. Replays indicate that of 22 callable pitches during the half inning, Walsh officiated 20 correctly, and the two incorrect calls were both strikes in favor of Milwaukee and against St Louis, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 6-6. The Cardinals ultimately won the contest, 10-6, in 10 innings.
