HP Umpire Derek Thomas ejected Marlins CF Dane Myers (strike three check swing call) in the top of the 8th inning of the #Marlins-#Reds game. With one out and two on, Marlins batter Myers attempted to check his swing on a 3-2 cutter from Reds pitcher Lucas Sims, ruled a swinging strike by HP Umpire Thomas. At the time of the ejection, the Reds were leading, 10-6. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 10-6.
