MLB Ejection 083 - Junior Valentine (2; Scott Emerson)
HP Umpire Junior Valentine ejected Athletics pitching coach Scott Emerson (ball two [no swing] call by 3B Umpire Emil Jimenez) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Athletics-#Twins game. With one out and two on, Twins batter Max Kepler attempted to check his swing on a 1-0 slider from A's pitcher Scott Alexander, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Valentine and called a no-swing on appeal by 3B Umpire Jimenez. At the time of the ejection, the Twins were leading, 6-5. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 8-7.
