MLB Ejection 130 - Alan Porter (1; Brant Brown)

HP Umpire Alan Porter ejected Marlins hitting coach Brant Brown (strike two/three calls during Yuli Gurriel's at-bat; QOCN) in the top of the 6th inning of the #Marlins-#Braves game. With two out and the bases loaded, Marlins batter Gurriel took a 2-0 fastball from Braves pitcher Kirby Yates for a called first strike and 3-2 fastball from Yates for a called third strike. Replays indicate the 2-0 pitch ruled strike one was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh-high (px 0.97, pz 2.50) while the 3-2 pitch ruled strike three was located over the outer edge of home plate and above the knee (px 0.83, pz 2.14), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Braves were leading, 6-0. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 7-0.

This is Alan Porter (64)'s 1st ejection of 2023.
