In the 4th, with two out and one on, White Sox batter Anderson took a 1-2 curveball from A's pitcher Luis Medina for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and at the hollow of the knee (px 0.94, pz 1.57 [sz_bot 1.52]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Athletics were leading, 4-1. The Athletics ultimately won the contest, 7-4.
