Replays indicate the 2-0 pitch was located over the inner edge of home plate and thigh high while the 2-2 pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and below the midpoint (strike one: px -0.78, pz 1.97 [sz_bot 1.50]; strike three: px -0.73, pz 2.84 [sz_top 3.22]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Pirates were leading, 3-0. The Pirates ultimately won the contest, 8-0.
