MLB Ejection 054 - Alfonso Marquez (1; Christian Walker)

HP Umpire Alfonso Marquez ejected Diamondbacks 1B Christian Walker (check swing call to Nick Ahmed) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Giants-#DBacks game. With one out and none on, Ahmed attempted to check his swing on 1-1 and 2-1 sliders from Giants pitcher Jakob Junis, ruled balls by HP Umpire Marquez and affirmed as no swing by 1B Umpire De Jesus. Replays indicate Walker was initially upset over a check swing strike call during his at-bat in the bottom of the 5th inning that resulted in strike three, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 4-4. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 7-5.
