With one out and none on, Rockies batter Yonathan Daza took a first-pitch fastball from Mariners pitcher George Kirby for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and below the midpoint (px -0.11, pz 3.58 [sz_top 3.60 / RAD 3.72]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Mariners were leading, 5-1. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 9-2.
