MLB Ejection 024 - Dan Bellino (1; Madison Bumgarner)

1B Umpire Dan Bellino ejected Diamondbacks pitcher Madison Bumgarner (Unsportsmanlike-NEC) in the bottom of the 1st inning of the #Diamondbacks-#Marlins game. Following the conclusion of the first inning, Bellino ejected Bumgarner during the inning-break illegal substances inspection. Replays indicate Bumgarner had yelled and gestured at HP Umpire Ryan Wills following ball/strike calls and while walking off the mound toward the first-base line and the substance inspection, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Marlins were leading, 1-0. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 8-7.
