Boone was ejected during a pitching change; Whitson's callable pitch accuracy during the fractional inning immediately preceding ejection was 94.7% (18/19), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 9-1. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 9-2.
