With none out and none on, Moran attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 knuckle-curve from Indians pitcher Shane Bieber. Play was reviewed and adjudicated by the UEFL Appeals Board, the batter swung (3-5-1), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Indians were leading, 1-0. The Indians ultimately won the contest, 2-0.
This is Tripp Gibson (73)'s first ejection of 2020.
