With two out and none on, Brinson took a 3-2 curveball from Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and at the midpoint (px -0.58, pz 3.67 [sz_top 3.60 / RAD 3.72]) and that all other pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Nationals were leading, 6-0. The Nationals ultimately won the contest, 7-0.
