With none out and none on, Grandal took a 3-2 cutter from Braves pitcher Josh Tomlin for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and at the knee (px -0.66, pz 1.64 [sz_bot 1.55]) and that all other pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Braves were leading, 3-1. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 4-2.
