With none out and none on, Turner took a 2-2 fastball from Diamondbacks pitcher Taijuan Walker for a called third strike before referencing a video replay in contradiction of the call after the inning's conclusion.^ Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh-high (px 1.235, pz 2.265), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 1-1. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 3-1.
