With two out and none on, McCutchen took a 2-2 fastball from Dodgers pitcher Casey Fien for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px .246, pz 1.326 [sz_bot 1.640 / MOE 1.557]), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Pirates were leading, 4-3. The Pirates ultimately won the contest, 4-3.
