1B Umpire Gabe Morales ejected Twins Manager Paul Molitor for arguing a strike three (check swing) call in the top of the 9th inning of the Twins-Orioles game. With one out and one on, Orioles batter Miguel Sano attempted to check his swing on a 0-2 fastball from Orioles pitcher Zach Britton, ruled a swinging strike by Morales. This play has been referred to the UEFL Appeals Board for further review (Check Swing). At the time of the ejection, the Orioles were leading, 3-2. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 4-3, in 12 innings.
