HP Umpire Tim Timmons ejected Red Sox Manager John Farrell for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Orioles-Red Sox game. With two out and two on, Red Sox batter Brock Holt took a 1-2 fastball from Orioles pitcher Brad Brach for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh high (px -1.149, pz 2.168), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Orioles were leading, 6-3. The Orioles ultimately won the contest, 6-3.
