In the 2nd, with one out and one on, Diamondbacks batter Andy Marte hit a 0-0 fastball from Pirates pitcher Vance Worley on a line drive to center fielder McCutchen, who dove to catch the ball on the fly as it neared the outfield grass. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Diamondbacks Manager Gibson, Hickox's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review and ejection, the game was tied, 0-0.
In the 9th, with one out and two on, Diamondbacks pitcher Delgado threw a 2-0 fastball that hit Pirates batter McCutchen. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the inner edge of home plate and hit McCutchen on the lower back, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Pirates were leading, 5-1. The Pirates ultimately won the contest, 8-3.

MLB Ejection 138: Will Little (3; Mike Matheny)
2B Umpire Will Little ejected Cardinals Manager Mike Matheny for arguing a Replay Review decision that upheld Little's safe call in the top of the 6th inning of the Brewers-Cardinals game. With none out and one on, Brewers batter Elian Herrera hit a 0-1 cutter from Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright on a line drive to second baseman Kolten Wong, who threw to shortstop Jhonny Peralta as Brewers baserunner R1 Jean Segura arrived at second base. Upon Replay Review, Little's ruling was affirmed as replays indicate Peralta did not catch the ball and tag second base prior to Segura's touch arrival, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Brewers were leading, 3-0. At the time of the ejection, the Brewers were leading, 6-0. The Brewers ultimately won the contest, 7-4.

MLB Ejection 137: Mike Winters (1; Mike Redmond)
HP Umpire Mike Winters ejected Marlins Manager Mike Redmond for arguing a Replay Review decision that overturned Winters' Rule 7.13 violation no-call (out) in the top of the 8th inning of the Reds-Marlins game. With one out and three on, Reds batter Todd Frazier hit a 1-2 cutter from Marlins pitcher Bryan Morris on a fly ball to right fielder Giancarlo Stanton, who threw to catcher Jeff Mathis as Reds baserunner R3 Zack Cozart attempted to score from third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Reds Manager Bryan Price and initiation by Crew Chief Mike Winters, Winters' ruling was reversed as replays indicate Mathis violated Rule 7.13 by not allowing Cozart access to home plate, the call was correct.* At the time of the review, the Marlins were leading, 1-0. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 1-1. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 3-1.
