MLB Ejection 174: Hunter Wendelstedt (2; Scott Fletcher)

HP Umpire Hunter Wendelstedt ejected Braves Hitting Coach Scott Fletcher for arguing a strike three call in the top of the 3rd inning of the Braves-Marlins game. With two out and none on, Braves batter Phil Gosselin took a 2-2 curveball from Marlins pitcher Nathan Eovaldi for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and at the midpoint between the top of the uniform pants and shoulders (px .12, pz 3.34 / sz_top 3.36), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 4-3.

This is Hunter Wendelstedt (21)'s second ejection of the 2014 season.
Hunter Wendelstedt now has 16 points in the UEFL Standings (12 Prev + 2 MLB + 2 Correct Call = 16).
Crew Chief Jerry Layne now has 17 points in the Crew Division (16 Previous + 1 Correct Call = 17).
