Rumor: Quinn Wolcott Hired, Gary Darling Retires
Rumor: Quinn Wolcott has been hired to the MLB staff while long-time crew chief Gary Darling has retired. In our tradition of continuing to provide news breaks and rumor mill discussion, the UEFL reports the aforementioned staff shuffle as an unconfirmed report. Darling has been on Major League Umpiring's Disabled List since Opening Day 2014 while Wolcott is in his second season as an active MiLB call-up umpire, having worked 64 games in 2013.
