Instant Replay Review overturned 2B Umpire Paul Emmel's live ball (no fan interference) call in the bottom of the 2nd inning of the Brewers-Reds game. With one out and none on, Reds batter Ramon Santiago hit a fly ball to deep right field whereupon right fielder Logan Schafer attempted to catch the fly as a spectator reached over the wall, the ball falling to the ground. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Brewers Manager Ron Roenicke and initiation by Crew Chief Jerry Meals, Emmel's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 2-0. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 4-2.
