Instant Replay Review confirmed HP Umpire Angel Hernandez's Rule 7.13 violation no-call (out) in the bottom of the 3rd inning of the Astros-Angels game. With two out and one on, Angels batter C.J. Cron hit a 1-1 slider from Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel on a ground ball to left fielder L.J. Hoes, who threw to catcher Carlos Corporan as Angels baserunner R2 David Freese slid into home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Angels Manager Mike Scioscia and initiation by Crew Chief Larry Vanover, Hernandez's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Angels were leading, 3-1. The Angels ultimately won the contest, 7-6.
