With one out and none on, Orioles batter Steve Pearce hit a 3-2 slider for a home run to left field. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Rangers Manager Ron Washington and initiation by Crew Chief Nelson, Nelson's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Orioles were leading, 1-0. The Orioles ultimately won the contest, 8-3.
