Instant Replay Review overturned 1B Umpire Seth Buckminster's Not HR (live ball, in play) call in the bottom of the 3rd and out call in the top of the 8th inning of the Twins-Tigers game. In the 3rd, with none out and one on, Tigers batter Victor Martinez hit a 0-2 curveball from Twins pitcher Samuel Deduno on a fly ball to deep right field near the outfield wall. At the time of the review, the Tigers were leading, 3-1.
In the 8th, with two out and one on, Twins batter Eduardo Nunez hit a 3-2 fastball from Tigers pitcher Phil Coke on the ground to second baseman Ian Kinsler, who threw to first baseman Miguel Cabrera as Nunez arrived at first base.
