In the 6th, with one out and one on, Reds batter Zack Cozart hit a 2-1 slider from Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner on the ground to third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who threw to second baseman Brandon Hicks to first baseman Adam Duvall as Cozart arrived at first base, Reds baserunner R1 Chris Heisey out at second. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Giants Manager Bruce Bochy, Bellino's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 5-0.
In the 7th, with two out and one on, Reds batter Jay Bruce hit a 2-2 curveball from Giants pitcher Yusmeiro Petit on a line drive to right fielder Hunter Pence, who attempted to catch the ball on the fly. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Giants Manager Bochy and initiation by Crew Chief Jeff Kellogg, Bellino's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 6-2. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 6-2.
