Instant Replay Review confirmed HP Umpire Mike DiMuro's Rule 7.13 violation no-call (out) in the top of the 2nd inning of the Nationals-Cubs game. With one out and one on, Nationals batter Wilson Ramos hit a 0-1 cutter from Cubs pitcher Travis Wood on a ground ball to left fielder Ryan Sweeney, who threw to third baseman Luis Valbuena to catcher Welington Castillo as Nationals baserunner R2 Ryan Zimmerman slid into home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Nationals Manager Matt Williams and initiation by Crew Chief Jerry Layne, DiMuro's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the game was tied, 0-0. The Cubs ultimately won the contest, 5-3.
