Instant Replay Review confirmed HP Umpire Andy Fletcher's safe call in the bottom of the 9th inning of the White Sox-Twins game. With two out and two on, Twins batter Brian Dozier hit a 1-1 sinker from White Sox pitcher Ronald Belisario on a line drive to left fielder Dayan Viciedo, who threw to catcher Tyler Flowers as Twins baserunner R2 Eduardo Escobar slid into home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by White Sox Manager Robin Ventura, Fletcher's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Twins were leading, 5-4. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 5-4.
