Instant Replay Review overturned 2B Umpire Mike Muchlinski's safe call in the top of the 9th inning of the Rockies-Giants game. With two out and one on, Rockies baserunner R1 Charlie Blackmon attempted to steal second base off Giants catcher Hector Sanchez, who threw to second baseman Brandon Hicks as Blackmon slid into the bag. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Giants Manager Bruce Bochy, Muchlinski's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Rockies were leading, 7-4. The Rockies ultimately won the contest, 7-4.
