Instant Replay Review confirmed 1B Umpire Mike DiMuro's out call in the top of the 9th inning of the Blue Jays-Orioles game. With one out and one on, Blue Jays batter Darin Mastroianni hit a 1-2 fastball from Orioles pitcher Zach Britton on the ground to shortstop J.J. Hardy, who threw to second baseman Jonathan Schoop to first baseman Chris Davis as Mastroianni arrived at first base, Blue Jays baserunner R1 Steve Tolleson out at second. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons, DiMuro's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Orioles were leading, 4-2. The Orioles ultimately won the contest, 4-2.
