Instant Replay Review upheld 2B Umpire Tom Hallion's out call in the top of the 6th inning of the Twins-Blue Jays game. With one out and one on, Twins batter Kurt Suzuki hit a 0-1 fastball from Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman on a line drive to right fielder Jose Bautista, who threw to shortstop Jose Reyes as Suzuki slid into second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire, Hallion's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Twins were leading, 3-0.
