Instant Replay Review confirmed 3B Umpire Brian Gorman's safe call in the top of the 9th inning of the Blue Jays-Tigers game. With one out and two on, Tigers pitcher Joe Nathan threw to third baseman Don Kelly in an attempt to pick off Blue Jays baserunner R3 Jose Reyes as Reyes slid into third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Tigers Manager Brad Ausmus, Gorman's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Blue Jays were leading, 1-0. The Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 5-3.
