With none out and two on, Mariners batter Endy Chavez bunted a 0-0 fastball from Yankees pitcher David Phelps to Phelps, who threw to third baseman Yangervis Solarte as Mariners baserunner R2 Mike Zunino slid into third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Yankees Manager Joe Girardi, Gorman's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the contest was tied, 2-2. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 10-2.
