With two out and three on, Recker took a 2-2 sinker from Brewers pitcher Brandon Kintzler for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and below the hollow of the knees (px 0.574, pz 1.394 / sz_bot 1.67), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the contest was tied, 1-1. The Brewers ultimately won the contest, 5-1, in 13 innings.
