Instant Replay Review upheld 1B Umpire Kerwin Danley's out call in the bottom of the 6th inning of the Reds-Diamondbacks game. With two out and two on, Diamondbacks batter Ender Inciarte hit a 2-2 curveball from Reds pitcher Mike Leake on the ground to second baseman Brandon Phillips, who threw to Leake covering as Inciarte arrived at first base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Diamondbacks Manager Kirk Gibson, Danley's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 5-4.
