Instant Replay Review upheld 1B Umpire Gerry Davis' safe call in the top of the 7th inning of the Reds-Dodgers game. With none out and one on, Reds batter Zack Cozart hit a 3-2 slider from Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw on the ground to third baseman Justin Turner, who threw to second baseman Dee Gordon to first baseman Adrian Gonzalez as Cozart arrived at first base, Reds baserunner R1 Brayan Pena out at second. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Dodgers Manager Don Mattingly, Davis' ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 3-2. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 3-2.
