Instant Replay Review upheld 3B Umpire John Tumpane's safe call in the top of the 4th inning of the Red Sox-Braves game. With one out and one on, Red Sox baserunner R2 Grady Sizemore attempted to steal third base off Braves catcher Gerald Laird and third baseman Chris Johnson as Sizemore slid into third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez, Tumpane's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Braves were leading, 2-1. The Red Sox ultimately won the contest, 6-3.
