MLB Instant Replay Review 378: Larry Vanover (07)

Instant Replay Review upheld 2B Umpire Larry Vanover's safe call in the top of the 12th inning of the Yankees-Cardinals game. With none out and one on, Yankees baserunner Jacoby Ellsbury attempted to steal second base off Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Cardinals Manager Mike Matheny, Vanover's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the contest was tied, 3-3. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 6-4, in 12 innings.
