Instant Replay Review overturned 3B Umpire Kerwin Danley's live ball (no HR, in play) call in the bottom of the 6th inning of the Blue Jays-Red Sox game. With none out and one on, Red Sox batter Jonny Gomes hit a 0-0 changeup from Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ on a fly ball to deep left field and off the top of the wall. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Red Sox Manager John Farrell and initiation by Crew Chief Gary Cederstrom, Danley's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Blue Jays were leading, 7-2. The Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 7-4.
