With none out and two on, Rays batter Ryan Hanigan bunted a 0-1 fastball from Orioles pitcher Tommy Hunter to third baseman Manny Machado, who threw to second baseman Ryan Flaherty covering first base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Rays Manager Joe Maddon, Fagan's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Orioles were leading, 5-3. The Orioles ultimately won the contest, 5-3.
