With two out and one on, Indians catcher Yan Gomes attempted to pick off Twins baserunner R2 Danny Santana at second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Indians Manager Terry Francona, Eddings' ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the contest was tied, 0-0. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 1-0, in 10 innings.
