Instant Replay Review overturned 3B Umpire Lance Barrett's safe call in the bottom of the 2nd inning of the Rangers-Angels game. With one out and two on, Angels batter Erick Aybar hit a 3-2 slider from Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish on the ground to Darvish, who threw to third baseman Adrian Beltre as Angels baserunner R2 C.J. Cron slid into third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Rangers Manager Ron Washington, Barrett's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Rangers were leading, 5-2.
