Instant Replay Review confirmed HP Umpire Marcus Pattillo's safe call in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Orioles-Twins game. With one out and two on, Twins batter Kurt Suzuki hit a 1-0 sinker from Orioles pitcher Ryan Webb on a line drive to left fielder Nelson Cruz, who threw to catcher Matt Wieters as Twins baserunner R1 Jason Kubel slid into home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Orioles Manager Buck Showalter, Pattillo's ruling was confirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Twins were leading, 5-2. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 5-2.
