With two out and two on, Mets batter Lucas Duda hit a 0-1 fastball from Rockies pitcher Franklin Morales on a sharp ground ball to right fielder Charlie Blackmon, who threw to first baseman Ryan Wheeler to third baseman Nolan Arenado as Mets baserunner R1 Anthony Recker arrived at third base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Rockies Manager Walt Weiss, Carlson's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Mets were leading, 2-0. The Rockies ultimately won the contest, 11-10.
