Instant Replay Review upheld 1B Umpire Gabe Morales' out call in the bottom of the 6th inning of the Rangers-Mariners game. With two out and one on, Mariners batter Brad Miller bunted a 0-1 slider from Rangers pitcher Aaron Poreda back to Poreda, who threw to first baseman Mitch Moreland as Miller arrived at first base. Upon Instant Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Mariners Manager Lloyd McClendon, Morales' ruling that Moreland caught the ball and tagged first base prior to Miller's touch arrival was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the contest was tied, 3-3. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 6-3.
