Instant Replay Review confirmed 1B Umpire Gabe Morales' out call in the bottom of the 5th inning of the Astros-Blue Jays game. With two out and one on, Blue Jays batter Melky Cabrera hit a 1-1 fastball from Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel on the ground to third baseman Matt Dominguez, who, after bobbling and Cabrera's stumbling, threw to first baseman Marc Krauss as Cabrera arrived at first base. Upon Instant Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons, Morales' ruling that Krauss caught the ball and tagged first base prior to Cabrera's touch arrival was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Astros were leading, 2-1. The Astros ultimately won the contest, 6-4.
