HP Umpire Seth Buckminster ejected Mets 2B Daniel Murphy for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 10th inning of the Marlins-Mets game. With one out and one on, Murphy took a 1-2 slider from Marlins pitcher Steve Cishek for a called third strike. Looked pretty good to me....
ReplyDeleteNice to see he took no bull*^%*
I think you guys forgot to post the Joe Maddon ejection when he was tossed by Tim Timmons over a check swing.
ReplyDeleteSomebody may want to tell the rookie that he may want to get the call right if he's going to toss somebody that quickly...
ReplyDeleteMike win you were a "rookie" in the show how did you handle these situations?
ReplyDeleteThat was a hitable pitch!
ReplyDeleteIt was still a ball.
ReplyDeleteI call BS. That pitch caught the back corner of the plate on the overhead view
ReplyDeleteI initially thought the same thing, but the pitch f/x numbers usually don't lie. I can only think that the overhead camera is somewhat slanted.
ReplyDeleteThen you truly do not understand the game.
ReplyDeleteThe pitch f/x doesn't take into consideration the strike zone is 3D
ReplyDeleteI call that pitch a strike every game.
