MLB Ejection 022: Seth Buckminster (1; Daniel Murphy)

HP Umpire Seth Buckminster ejected Mets 2B Daniel Murphy for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 10th inning of the Marlins-Mets game. With one out and one on, Murphy took a 1-2 slider from Marlins pitcher Steve Cishek for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and belt high (px -1.16, pz 2.25), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Marlins were leading, 7-6. The Marlins ultimately won the contest, 7-6.

(In the top of the 9th, Instant Replay Review overturned 1B Umpire Mike Muchlinski's safe call as the result of a challenge by Mets Manager Terry Collins.)
