The umpire crew for MLB's Opening Series in Sydney, Australia has been named. Each MLB umpire appointed to officiate the 2014 series down under will work a plate—two during the Dodgers' and Diamondbacks' exhibitions vs Team Australia and the others during the Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks regular season games. Australian Baseball League (ABL) umpires will join the USA crew for the exhibition games. The American crew assigned to the Australian games is notably not an intact MLB crew for the 2014 regular season.
