Instant replay reversed HP Umpire David Soucy's out call in the top of the 2nd inning of the Rockies-Dodgers game. With one out and two on, Rockies batter Jordan Pacheco hit a 0-0 pitch from Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jim Ryu on the fly to right fielder Yasiel Puig, who threw to catcher A.J. Ellis as Rockies baserunner R3 Matt McBride slid into home plate. Upon instant replay review as the result of a challenge by Rockies Manager Walt Weiss, Soucy's ruling that Ellis tagged McBride prior to McBride's touch of home plate was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the instant replay review, the game was tied, 0-0.* The contest ultimately ended in a 3-3 tie, in regulation.
