Instant replay affirmed 2B Umpire Allen Bailey's safe call in the top of the 5th inning of the Dodgers-White Sox game. With one out and two on, Dodgers batter Juan Uribe hit a 1-0 pitch from White Sox pitcher Ronald Belisario to shortstop Alexei Ramirez, who threw to second baseman Marcus Semien as Dodgers baserunner R1 Scott Van Slyke arrived at second base; subsequently, Semien's attempted throw to first base deflected into right field off Van Slyke's helmet, allowing baserunner R2 Justin Turner to score. Upon instant replay review as the result of a challenge by White Sox Manager Robin Ventura, Bailey's ruling that Semien did not receive Ramirez's throw prior to Van Slyke's arrival and occupation of second base was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the instant replay review, the game was tied, 2-2. The White Sox ultimately won the contest, 5-4.

They're testing Hamari. Two Spring Training EJ's.
Hamari gave him plenty of spare rope...but he made the choice to hang himself!
